Every active user account (student, teacher, admin, finance, or any staff role) consumes exactly 1 license. Parent accounts linked to students are always free and never consume a license.
You are billed for the total number of purchased licenses, not the number currently in use. For example, if you purchase 1,000 licenses but only use 900, you are billed for 1,000.
Yes! You can increase your license count at any time. The additional licenses are prorated — you only pay for the remaining portion of the billing period.
License reductions are allowed at renewal time, as long as the new count is greater than or equal to your current active users. You cannot reduce below your active user count.
When all licenses are consumed, the system prevents creating or activating additional user accounts until more licenses are purchased or existing users are deactivated.
Yes, always. Parent accounts linked to student profiles never consume a license. This applies regardless of your plan or license count.
